PROJECT PURPOSE

This four-year-long GC/CM project, completed as a joint venture, removed the old San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (SFOBB) foundations. The project was completed in three phases and involved demolishing the foundations using explosives. This project incorporated a high level of collaboration between the SFOBB team and major project stakeholders due to the work's environmentally sensitive and complex nature.
