There are many aspects to being successful in our line of work, but most, in one way or another, boil down to relationships—both within our organization and with our business partners. Trust and respect, along with the ability to partner and collaborate, are the foundations to building strong relationships, which are fundamental to the work we do at Manson.
As we navigate the challenges of our markets and respond to new opportunities, we rely heavily on well-established business relationships built over many years. These relationships include our clients, as well as JV partners, subcontractors, vendors, and the companies that support our operations through financing, surety services, and insurance. Some of our most important business relationships are the partnerships we have formed with our clients. Understanding the needs of our clients and collaborating to resolve issues is critical to the success of our projects and builds trust for future opportunities. There are numerous examples of this type of problem-solving in the stories that follow. We are also proud of the longevity of our business partnerships, many of which span decades.
This issue of the Manson Navigator highlights the 70-year partnership we celebrated this year with our surety, who provides bonding to meet contract requirements for all our work.
But the conversation about relationships really starts with our commitment to our people. Taking care of our people and making sure they are engaged with their work and their teams is our most important responsibility. In turn, we are fortunate to have an organization with dedicated employees committed to their teams and the success of their projects.
As you read this issue of the Navigator, I hope you will note the examples of teamwork and collaboration by our staff and crews as they work to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
